A key focus and passion is trauma recovery for big T and little t trauma. It may be very recent or from our past. Such trauma as childhood sexual abuse, abandonment, neglect, earthquakes, violence, bullying, car accidents, and warfare.

Kia ora, I'm Vanessa, a Wellington based Wellbeing Coach, I work with Mums using a unique approach to wellbeing, which helps people reduce stress, enjoy life and feel more confident.

My work has given me the privilege of working with a wide range of people with differing backgrounds and circumstances with whatever brings them to therapy: low mood, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, repeating patterns, grief, and addictions. Sometimes people don’t know what brings them to therapy. They might not feel right, and have a need for clarity – therapy is often a great place for addressing this.

My experience includes working with couples and relationships, anxiety, trauma, low mood and depression. I also work extensively with older clients (over 60s) and those who have experienced negative father issues.

My name is Nicola, and I am an eating disorder recovery coach.

An eating disorder not only affects the person suffering from it but the whole family too. For this reason, I also focus on helping the family through this journey, advising on how to best support the client at home and in day-to-day life.
