Introduction

Therapy

Therapy offers a supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. It’s an opportunity to gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and to begin the process of healing and personal growth.

About Me

I have 14 years of experience as a psychologist overseas, and over a year of experience providing therapy here in New Zealand. I support individuals of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of life challenges.

I offer a warm, respectful space where clients can feel safe, heard, and understood. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and see counselling as a collaborative process that supports healing, insight, and personal growth.

Originally from Israel, I bring a deep understanding of cultural transitions, identity, and belonging. Having settled with my family in New Zealand, I also enjoy working with migrants, expats, and others navigating major life changes.

How I Work

I offer a warm, collaborative space and tailor therapy to each client’s needs. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from:

  • Psychotherapy to explore emotions, patterns, and relationships
  • EMDR for trauma processing and emotional relief
  • ACT to support values-based living and emotional flexibility
  • Attachment and Family Systems approaches to understand relational dynamics
  • CBT tools for practical coping and regulation

Who I Work With

  • Individuals of all ages navigating stress, anxiety, grief, identity, or life transitions
  • Adults seeking support with emotional, relational, or behavioural challenges
  • Parents and families looking for guidance in understanding and connecting with each other

Counselling is available in-person at my practice in Albany (North Shore, Auckland) or online across New Zealand. Sessions can be one-off or ongoing, depending on your needs.

If you're ready to take the next step, feel free to get in touch via the Send a message - button.

I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Qualifications and registrations

I have 14 years of professional experience working in both educational settings and private practice, providing counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoeducational assessment. Since moving to New Zealand a year ago, I have continued offering therapy here and am a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Statistics, a Master of Arts in Social Psychology, and a specialist certification in Educational Psychology. I have also completed advanced training in psychotherapy, including a three-year psychoanalytic psychotherapy program, and further professional development in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Interpersonal Therapy.

I work with individuals of all ages to navigate anxiety, depression, and life’s various challenges, offering support that is practical, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs. I also provide guidance to families to strengthen relationships and communication. My approach combines psychodynamic insights with evidence-based techniques to support meaningful growth and positive change.

Specialisations and Expertises

Most common issues I support people with:

  • Anxiety & Stress – Helping clients manage overwhelming worry, panic, and daily stress, using tools to build calm, confidence, and coping strategies.

  • Depression & Low Mood – Supporting individuals through periods of sadness, hopelessness, or lack of motivation, fostering emotional understanding, resilience, and hope.

  • Trauma & PTSD – Guiding clients safely through the effects of past trauma or difficult experiences, helping them process memories, reduce distress, and regain a sense of safety.

  • Life Transitions & Adjustment – Assisting with major changes such as career shifts, relocation, or family changes, helping clients navigate uncertainty and find balance.

  • Parenting & Family Challenges – Working with parents and families to manage behavioural difficulties, strengthen communication, and foster healthier family dynamics.
