Kia Ora and welcome. I’m Shana and I am excited to be offering individual counselling sessions for teens and adults.
It takes courage to open to someone about what is going on in your life. Talking to someone who is professional, neutral, warm, and engaging can help to process and work through some of life’s difficult times. Counselling can help you find clarity when making key decisions, assist with interpersonal challenges and self-awareness.
I recently completed a Masters degree and I have worked with young people and families in various services over the years, providing mental health and wellbeing support. I am a parent among other roles, and understand the juggle that life can demand. I use a range of approaches depending on your needs.
I am originally from Canada but have called Auckland, New Zealand home since 2012. I have a daughter, partner and cat, and I come from a large Italian family. I love spending time in nature and by the sea.

I provide individualised support dealing with a range of issues, including life changes, transitions, anxiety, depression, workplace stress, other mental health challenges (ADHD, ASD), self esteem, grief and loss, increasing coping skills, identity, I am an LGBTIQ+ ally, and dealing with conflict.
