Counselling Tauranga
I am a New Zealand-born Kiwi, a mother, and a grandmother living in the Western Bay of Plenty.
I'm passionate about providing affordable, accessible, culturally sensitive counselling services to everyday New Zealanders, with a particular passion for supporting those impacted in some way by addiction.
My career working in the social sector has spanned more than 25 years, and my lived experience as a survivor of domestic violence gives me a deep understanding of Aotearoa's most vulnerable populations, and the ability to engage with people from all walks of life with empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
As well as running my part-time private practice, I work part-time for a kaupapa Māori Mental Health and Addiction Service, supporting clients with co-existing mental health and addiction challenges.
If you think I might be the right fit for you, but you're not 100% sure, or if you have any questions, just send me an email and let's take it from there.
