I am a counsellor who values and respects each person's unique experiences and perspectives. My approach focuses on creating a safe, empathetic space where clients can freely explore their thoughts and emotions, fostering growth, healing, and meaningful change.

I am a member of NZAC and focus on offering skills for regulating emotions and working towards healing/thriving. I have been instrumental in the mindfulness modalities for therapy and emotional regulation across Australasia since the mid 2000s. Improving relationship (even that which you have with yourself) is the path to thriving. My motto is: the past informed the present, but the NOW creates the future. There is no time like now to step up and grow your relationship wellbeing.

Did you know, most counselling clients only need 4-6 sessions to get through what can seem like insurmountable problems. Counselling really just connects the dots, and helps you understand why you and your body are feeling out of sorts. Change happens quickly when you realise you are having a normal reaction to the circumstances that surround you, or that have surrounded you in the past. Let me help you make your problems a thing of the past, in a safe, confidentially, and often fun environment!

I have a special interest and experience with cultural and neuro-diversity, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I tailor my therapeutic approach according to each client's individual needs and wants. Although I mainly draw from person-centered and solution-focused therapy modalities, I often integrate aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Supporting clients to change unhelpful patterns, and find connection and meaning in their life are key aspects of my counselling.

I understand that seeking counselling can be a big step. I provide a supportive and confidential space where you can explore your concerns and work towards positive change. As a registered counsellor, I can help with individual counselling for adults (18+) who are seeking support, clarity, and meaningful personal growth. My role is to provide a calm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s happening in your life and move towards the changes you want to make.

I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Counsellor (NZAC) and qualified Psychologist trained in Brazil, with over 30 years of diverse experience supporting adults through emotional challenges, life transitions and mental health concerns. As a bilingual practitioner (Portuguese–English), I provide trauma-informed, person-centred, Walk and Talk Therapy to promote wellbeing, balance and self-awareness. I offer support for stress, anxiety, depression, grief, homesickness, relationship issues and cross-cultural experience
