Introduction

I have been a Registered Psychologist for over 30 years; I am a parent of three adult daughters and a grandparent of two little boys.

I am very experienced at parenting, couples counselling & relationship issues, dealing with behavioural issues. As well as helping parents with behavioural issues I can also help with sleep patterns and dependencies. I specialise in anxiety and panic attacks, and I have developed resources to manage this. 

I use a variety of modalities, Acceptance Theory, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Narrative theory, Compassion focussed CBT, Brief solutions focused Interventions.I have over 30 years of experience to draw from. I am goal orientated and I will keep you on track on your journey.

I use a strengths based approach to help you be your best self. I use positive psycholgy as my basis. I also work in the corporate world as a Leadership Coach and Facilitator. I have lectured at both Massey and Waikato Universities on their Masters programmes. 

I am a great active listener and I will ask the hard questions particulaly if you are 'stuck' and need to move on.

I help couples to work on their relationships and I have had great success in this area, I can also help couples through the separation and divorce process if this proves necessary.

Online therapy

I use google meet, Zoom and Microsoft teams, i will send you a link and you can have your sessionhs in your own private space, no travel or petrol costs. Couples can join on separate devices if need be.
