Introduction

My approach is holistic and considers the many different aspects that contribute to a persons well-being. My clients are experts in their lives and I trust they hold the answers, however I have the privileged role in supporting them find those answers. I draw from different approaches depending on the challenges or presenting issues. With my focus on the client I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Te Whare Tapa Whā, Solution Focussed Bried Therapy (SFBT), Somatic Experiencing, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)

When I'm not in the counselling room you'll find me reviving worn-out furniture, basking in the sun, or sharing adventures with my friends/family/partner and lovely dog Maple. I have a holistic approach to well-being and value upholding this within myself so I am able to be present and connect with the wonderful people I meet. 

I have experience in:

• Supporting teenagers as a highschool counsellor
• Supporting new mums in a community based role
• Supporting women who have, or are experiencing family harm
• Private practice counselling

I am passionate about helping clients recognise their power and work towards having compassion and love for themselves.
