My name is Jessica.
I am a life and relationship coach in New Plymouth offering individual and relationship coaching.

Together we explore solutions, invite curiosity, new perspectives & opportunities to shift from the current way of being to an expanded embodiment of you.

I offer confidential empathetic opportunities for people to explain their difficulties or circumstances and then guide them to clarify the issues and explore practical strategies and alternatives for working through these challenges and moving towards satisfactory resolutions.

I provide a safe and warm container for people to be themselves, encouraging personal growth and healing with kindness and compassion. My work is a gentle, body-centred therapy where you are supported to slow down and access healing through embodied connection and heartfelt listening.

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth.

My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.

A key focus and passion is trauma recovery for big T and little t trauma. It may be very recent or from our past. Such trauma as childhood sexual abuse, abandonment, neglect, earthquakes, violence, bullying, car accidents, and warfare.

Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, or low self-worth. I provide counselling for adults seeking support with emotional overwhelm, burnout, family dynamics, and patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I work with both men and women, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. I also offer a free 30-minute meet-and-greet so you see whether working together feels like the right fit for you
