Online Therapists and counsellors for grief counselling

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth.
My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.

In life we can all have times that are more challenging and painful than others and counselling can provide a safe space to work through those seasons.
I am a Counsellor and Couples Therapist who is committed to providing that safe and confidential environment where people can feel heard and validated while working through their pain and struggles without judgement.

Welcome to my page, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted inside. Grief, anxiety, trauma, or disconnection may be weighing you down. My clients often long for a space where they don’t have to pretend, where they can simply be themselves and feel fully accepted.

Are you feeling distress from a current or past relationship ?
If you are then look no further. I am an experienced Counsellor and Coach.
I offer packages of Counselling and Coaching sessions in person and online via zoom.
I can help you by providing a healing trusting space to work through your distress and then to find more empowered communication styles to build better relationships and a better future.

A key focus and passion is trauma recovery for big T and little t trauma. It may be very recent or from our past. Such trauma as childhood sexual abuse, abandonment, neglect, earthquakes, violence, bullying, car accidents, and warfare.

I offer tailored counseling services for individuals, couples, and groups. My dedicated practice is committed to providing accessible and affordable solutions to help you overcome life's obstacles.

I welcome clients who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsettled, often during a time of change in their life. This might include becoming a parent, grief, getting older, or other major life transitions. People who are looking for a safe and supportive space where they can talk openly, feel listened to, and make sense of what they are going through. Our goals may include feeling more confident, regaining a sense of control, and identify a preferred understanding of your experiences.

I am a member of NZAC and focus on offering skills for regulating emotions and working towards healing/thriving. I have been instrumental in the mindfulness modalities for therapy and emotional regulation across Australasia since the mid 2000s. Improving relationship (even that which you have with yourself) is the path to thriving. My motto is: the past informed the present, but the NOW creates the future. There is no time like now to step up and grow your relationship wellbeing.
