Introduction

Kia ora, Hello, Guten Tag — I'm Heidi!

I help people build a better relationship with stress, with sleep, and with the people in their lives.

As a Certified Wellbeing & Health Coach, Relationship Coach, and certified trainer in Autogenic Training (AT) and Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR), I bring over nine years of coaching expertise and nearly two decades of clinical experience to every single conversation.

 

The Journey Behind My Approach

Before coaching, I spent nearly two decades as an intensive care nurse in Germany. I've seen what unmanaged stress does to people—up close, and over a very long time. Later, I founded and ran my own businesses in corporate events and product launches, so I also know the pressure of working life from the inside.

 

And through my dating dinner business that I ran for ten years long before apps took over, I saw how deeply people long for connection—and how few were ever actually taught the skills that make relationships work.

Because here's what nobody tells you:

 

  • Stress isn't trying to ruin your life. It genuinely means well—it just needs a translator.

  • Sleep isn't wasted time—it's your daily retreat, the most productive thing your body does in 24 hours.

  • Relationships? Nobody teaches us how to love. We learn to drive, to cook, to navigate airports in languages we barely speak—but love? It's supposed to just arrive. Fully formed. No manual.


Spoiler: There is a manual. We build it together.


What We Work on Together

  • Stress Competence — Stress isn't your enemy; it means well. First, we understand what's actually happening in your body and mind. Then we figure out together what's not working, what to change, and which tools and techniques fit your life. Then we activate the plan—and make sure it sticks.


  • Sleep Smarter — This is the instruction manual your body never came with. We explore why sleep works the way it does, what's breaking yours, and we build your personal toolkit of real tools and techniques. Because once you truly understand why sleep matters, you'll never treat it as optional again.


  • Thriving Relationships — For singles and couples who want more than just getting along. Relationships don't just happen—they need nurturing, real skills, and the courage to question the assumptions we never knew we were carrying. We work on understanding your own patterns, learning real tools, and consciously designing the relationship you actually want. Not fixing what's broken—building what you truly want.



How I Work

I believe you already carry the answers within yourself. My job is to help you find them.

  1. Understand: We start with the science, the why, and the full picture.

  2. Discover: Then we figure out together what's not working.

  3. Build: Then we build your personal toolkit.

  4. Embed: And we make sure it sticks—because insight without practice changes nothing.

You will leave every single session with something you've already used—not just heard about.

Online therapy

Online sessions work just as well as in person — and most of my clients work with me this way. We meet via Zoom, in a space that is private, comfortable, and entirely yours. No commute, no waiting room. Just a real conversation, wherever you are in New Zealand — or the world.

Understanding stress as a trusted teammate — not the enemy. Using evidence-based tools including Autogenic Training (AT), Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR), breathwork, and cognitive strategies. Typically 3–6 sessions, depending on depth and goals.

Sleep Smarter
Science-based sleep coaching combining psychoeducation, practical tools, and relaxation techniques. Not generic advice — a personalised approach built around you. Typically 6–10 sessions for lasting change.

Thriving Relationships
For singles ready to approach love on purpose — and for couples who want to consciously design the relationship they truly want. Real skills, real tools, real connection. Typically 6–8 sessions, couples or individual.

Autogenic Training (AT)

 is one of Europe's most established and scientifically researched relaxation techniques. Using simple mental exercises and self-guided formulas, you learn to activate your body's natural relaxation response, training your nervous system to shift from stress to calm whenever you need it.

Highly effective for managing stress, improving sleep, enhancing concentration, and supporting recovery from burnout and other stress-related conditions, AT is a practical skill you can use throughout your life. 
Course Duration: 8 weeks, with one guided session per week.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR)

is one of the most widely used and scientifically proven relaxation techniques. By systematically tensing and relaxing different muscle groups, you learn to release physical tension, calm your nervous system, and become more aware of the connection between body and mind.

Highly effective for reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, easing muscle tension, and supporting recovery from burnout and other stress-related conditions, PMR is a practical skill you can use throughout your life.

 

Course Duration: 8 weeks, with one guided session per week.

 

Wellbeing & Health Coaching
For those who know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start. A holistic approach covering energy, balance, habits, and what truly matters to you. Typically 3–6 sessions.
