Psychologist Tauranga

I am a registered psychologist and mediator passionate about partnering with individuals, couples, families, and groups to enhance their wellbeing and to find sustainable solutions to a wide range of concerns.

My practice is collaborative, empathetic and evidence-based.

I use an integrative approach that draws on a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Focused Acceptance Commitment Therapy (FACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, Brief Solution Focused Therapy (B-SFT) as well as creative and somatic modalities.

Furthermore, I have advanced training in community psychology, which helps me to understand the complex interrelationships between people and their environments. Depending on client goals and concerns being addressed, psycho-educational and coaching practices are also used.

My orientation is bicultural, strengths-focused, and built on principles such as empowerment/capacity-building and cultural safety. I possess strong leadership and reflexivity skills, and consider myself organised, professional, creative and caring.

I live in the beautiful Bay of Plenty with my son, and currently work in private practice at a central CBD location.

Would you like to know more or make an appointment, please contact me.
