About me

I began my working life as a trained teacher, a restauranter and a real estate sales professional. Over the last 16 years I’ve retrained in the field of counselling.

My own experience and journey has inspired me to walk alongside others, facilitating them in their own innate rediscovery of hope and inner peace.

Do you need motivation / empowerment / focus?

Do you want direction or deeper meaning in your life?

Coaching can help you reach beyond your old limitations to achieve your aspirations.

I love helping people explore their real potential in their personal or professional lives. Together we will explore your core drives, personal insights, values and beliefs. We will penetrate the “mask” or the self-sabotaging strategies of who you think you are.

When you rediscover your own innate expansiveness you will feel empowered. Imagine exploring the new and the unknown without fear, doubt and judgement holding you back.

Have you ever stopped to really take the time to discover your own potential?

Send me a message. I would love to help you achieve your aspirations!

Anger Management Therapy

There are varying degrees of anger: we can be mildly irritated or in a fully-fledged rage.

Anger is a completely normal and healthy human emotion, until it gets of out control and turns destructive. Anger then has the power to make you feel as though you’re at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful force or emotion.

Triggers and responses

Anger can be caused by internal events (worrying, brooding) or external events (experiences that trigger angry feelings). The instinctive way to express anger is to respond aggressively. Responding aggressively is physically or/and emotionally abusive (when uncontrolled).

If we suppress the anger, the emotion is being compressed into the body. This is a silently dangerous anger, as over time suppressed anger builds up like a pressure cooker. Unexpressed anger can also lead to passive-aggressive behaviour, such as putting others down, criticizing everyone, making cynical remarks.

So the question is: “How to manage your angry feelings – and at the same time get your needs met without hurting others?”

Managing your anger

When you are not in control of your anger and you have not learnt how to express your anger in a constructive way, anger management therapy can help. Together we will focus on:

  • Recognizing what makes you angry
  • Learning specific skills to help you manage triggers
  • Managing your angry feelings without hurting others

By exploring what is beneath this anger, the charge or trigger can be managed with a healthier response.

Would you like help managing your anger? Send me a message. I would like to help.

I feel calmer inside myself

“I had some angry stuff going on in my life and I notice I am more in control of it and somehow more relaxed. I am not being triggered by Dad in the same way and I hope this lasts. I actually feel calmer inside myself.”
